Associate / Patent Attorney Trainee
Jan holds a PhD in chemistry and is a patent attorney trainee at the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys.
He earned his PhD in organic chemistry at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He later expanded his research experience in both academic environment and R&D units in the industry, where he worked on both the synthesis of new drug-candidate compounds for cancer therapy and the preparation of patent application descriptions.
He gained his skills in IP – including prior art searches, preparing patent applications, and participating in patent litigation cases – initially at a pharmaceutical start-up and later at patent attorney’s law firm.
