Krystian Petz

Junior Associate / Advocate trainee

Krystian graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, where he defended his master thesis at the Department of Intellectual Property Law. During his studies, he participated in the Erasmus+ programme at the University of Barcelona, Spain. As a member of the JU team, he won the IP Challenge 2024 competition. While still a student, he gained professional experience in law firms specialising in commercial and intellectual property litigation. He is currently continuing his education as a student of the Intellectual Property and New Media Law programme at his alma mater.

Krystian is employed at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he conducts research on intellectual property law in the pharmaceutical sector and actively participates in both national and international conferences.

He is also an active member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).

Krystian is an advocate trainee at the Warsaw Bar Association.

At present, his practice focuses on patent litigation and pharmaceutical regulatory matters.
